Core records: user ID, coins, and subscriptions. Other app content is stored locally. Messages, relevant context, and selected images are transmitted when you request a cloud AI response.
01Our approach
This Privacy Policy explains how Lunara handles information when you use our Android application. Lunara is an AI character conversation experience intended exclusively for adults aged 18 and over.
Our core service records are limited to your user ID, coin information, and subscription information. Other app information, such as saved conversations, selected images, character preferences, and settings, is stored on your phone for your use. The cloud AI processing described below is an important exception to purely local handling.
02The three service records
- User ID
- An app-generated identifier used to distinguish your local app identity and associate your coin and membership records.
- Coin information
- Your coin balance and records of purchases, credits, spending, and adjustments needed to keep that balance accurate.
- Subscription information
- Your purchased plan, subscription status, validity period, and purchase or entitlement information needed to apply membership benefits.
These records support app operation, purchase verification, and access to paid features. They are not used to build an advertising profile.
03What stays on your phone
Saved conversation history, local images, character selections, and app preferences are kept on your device for use within Lunara. We do not maintain a developer-hosted archive of that content.
We do not request or collect your real name, contacts, precise location, address, health information, or payment-card details as part of the app’s core service records. Lunara does not collect the contents of your photo library. An image is accessed for a conversation only when you select it.
04When you use cloud AI
Generating an AI reply requires network transmission. When you send a message, its text and relevant conversation context are sent to the AI service so it can produce a response. If you choose to send an image, the selected image is also transmitted for that request. Local storage of your conversation does not mean the AI processing takes place entirely on your phone.
The current service routes these requests through OpenRouter and the model provider serving the request. Those providers process information under their own terms and privacy practices. Their processing and any retention are separate from the local records described here; we do not promise that third-party processing involves no retention. See the OpenRouter Privacy Policy.
Do not submit information you do not want an AI provider to process. You can choose not to use cloud AI features. Lunara does not upload unselected photos or your entire photo library.
05Google Play purchases
Lunara offers subscriptions and consumable coins through Google Play. Google handles payment processing under its own policies. Lunara uses purchase and entitlement information to update coin and subscription records; it does not receive your full card number or banking credentials.
Google may separately process billing and transaction information. You can review the Google Privacy Policy for details.
06Your choices and deletion
You can remove local information through the available in-app controls or by clearing Lunara’s storage in Android settings. Uninstalling the app removes its local app storage, subject to any device backup you control. Removing local information may permanently remove conversation history and local preferences.
Deleting app data or uninstalling Lunara does not cancel a Google Play subscription. Manage an active subscription through Google Play. Google may retain transaction records under its own obligations and policies.
We use the three service-record categories only for as long as needed to operate the related features, resolve purchase issues, or meet applicable obligations. 07Protection and disclosure
Local information relies on Android’s app storage protections. AI requests use encrypted HTTPS connections. No device or network can be guaranteed completely secure, so keep your phone protected and its software up to date.
We do not sell your personal information. Limited service records may be disclosed when necessary to process purchases, comply with a valid legal requirement, or protect users against fraud or misuse.
08Adults only
Lunara is for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided information to us, contact us so we can review and delete information within our control where appropriate.
09Contact and updates
Questions or privacy requests can be sent to kor.menta@gmail.com. If you voluntarily contact support, your message and reply address are used to respond to that request; they are separate from the app’s core data collection. Please share only what is necessary.
We may update this policy as the service or our obligations change. The effective date at the top identifies this version. Material changes will be communicated where required.
